How To Find Us...

To get to us from Auckland, head towards Whangarei and after Warkworth, Wellsford and Kaiwaka, look out for the Kauri Coast Highway (State Highway 12 to Dargaville) turn left there (at the Swinging Cow Cafe) and you will shortly be in Maungaturoto, carry on another 10mins and you will find yourself in Paparoa "The Village in the Valley" over the bridge and past the shops you will find us on the bend in the road opposite the Paparoa Store. From Dargaville simply take SH12 towards Brynderwyn (i.e. towards Auckland) and we are on the left about 45mins away. From Whangarei you can take the back roads (heading South!) and be here in about 45 mins or we are an hour via SH1 (turn right at Swinging Cow Cafe onto SH12) check google or wises for more details or CALL US: 09 431 6833 or email sahara@eatdrinkchill.co.nz

The Important Stuff!

Sahara Restaurant, Bar & Lounge is open Thursday through Sunday 10am - 3pm for Brunch/Lunch and again 6pm - Late for Dinner. We may have extended hours during the warmer months so please call to confirm and we are often open between lunch and dinner for snacks, tea/coffee and bar service. We have a 40-Seat Dining Room, a seperate bar, an informal lounge and a covered outside area making Sahara ideal for a quiet coffee, light lunch, special dinner or a huge function!
