Sahara is found 15mins off State Highway 1 from Brynderwyn in the heart of the Kaipara region, an area rich in history (be it Natural History, Maori History or more recent European History). We are blessed to have the mighty Kaipara Harbour on our doorstep providing abundant seafood and rich productive lands that provide us with plenty of quality fruit, vegetable, meat, poultry, game and dairy products. How To Find Us...
We are located on the corner of Franklin Road and Paparoa Valley Road (SH12) To get to us from Auckland, head towards Whangarei and after Warkworth, Wellsford and Kaiwaka, look out for the Kauri Coast Highway (State Highway 12 to Dargaville) turn left there (at the Swinging Cow Cafe) and you will shortly be in Maungaturoto, carry on another 10mins and you will find yourself in Paparoa "The Village in the Valley" over the bridge and past the shops you will find us on the bend in the road opposite the Paparoa Store. From Dargaville, simply take SH12 towards Brynderwyn (i.e. towards Auckland) and we are on the left about 45mins away.
